Meet The Team - Rebecca Delaney - Administrator

Posted on Thursday, January 15, 2015

We are starting a 'Meet The Team' series of Blog posts to allow our website visitors the chance to find out a little more about our staff.

Our first member of staff to introduce herself is Rebecca Delaney, and we asked her a few questions which you can see below:

Name:

Rebecca Delaney

Background/Previous experience:

I have previously worked in the kitchen and waitressing at a restaurant called The Risley Park. Alongside this, I was working in Superdrug, which is a beauty store and pharmacy. In the past, I have done a lot of voluntary work including dog kennels, dairy farm and helping out at Ashley Adams Estate Agents with filing and tidying of paperwork around the office.

How long have you been working for Pinnacle Surveyors?

I have been working for the company for just over 1 year now and it has gone by very fast!

So, what does your job entail?

I currently don’t look after any specific surveyors however, I am getting more and more involved with covering for the bookers when it gets busy or any of them are on leave. At this moment in time, I print off and check all the jobs that are sent in to us and allocate them to the appropriate bookers. I also send out terms and conditions and input the accounts as they go on the spreadsheet throughout the month. Besides these everyday jobs, I also have monthly occurring jobs such as sorting out the surveyor audits. I am also learning about how to deal with PVQ's (Post Valuation Queries) so I can provide cover when other staff are on leave.

What do you enjoy about working at Pinnacle Surveyors?

I enjoy getting to know about what all the staff do within the company. Learning about booking, typing and PVQ’s is what my job includes and so far I have found this very interesting. I also enjoy working with the staff in the office. We all work hard every day and there is always that small sense of ease knowing that if anyone needs any help, we’re all there to help in our own way.

What attracted you to working with Pinnacle Surveyors?

I was given the opportunity to start working as an administrator but with only a small amount of knowledge on the subject. I was able to be trained throughout the office duties and to learn about what working for the company entailed. This caught my eye as it’s hard for someone my age to gain that experience, and working with Pinnacle Surveyors has provided me with the opportunity to expand my knowledge of working within an office environment.

What do you do outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with my friends and going to Nottingham Panther ice hockey games.

Thank you Rebecca!
