Meet The Team - Nina Millichip - Appointment Scheduler

Posted on Thursday, January 22, 2015

We are starting a 'Meet The Team' series of Blog posts to allow our website visitors the chance to find out a little more about our staff.

Today we introduce Nina Millichip, and we asked her a few questions:

Background/Previous experience:

My first job at 16 years was working for Ashley Adams Estate Agents for 3years. Firstly as an Office Junior, I used to photocopy particulars of properties for sale and stick on the front photos picked up from the photographer. I then got promoted to PA to the MD. I used to type reports (then called) Structural Surveys, Homebuyers and valuation reports on carbon paper for the C&G via dictation from tape and typed on a manual typewriter. I then concentrated on front of house Receptionist/Telephonist jobs throughout my working career being at the front of most businesses.

How long have you been working for Pinnacle Surveyors?

3 Years in May 2015

What does your job entail? Which surveyors do you look after?

Appointment Scheduler for the Midlands (North) covering Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and, South Yorkshire. Main duties are to book appointments for the surveyors and their areas, deal with Estate Agents, vendors and tenants, answer the telephone, take messages, and deal with answer machine messages. I also deal with the general public over the telephone and answer questions from clients, take details for private work and email quotes. I regularly speak with Panel Managers and at quiet times email our details over to potential clients.

What do you enjoy about working at Pinnacle Surveyors?

The environment and the staff all work well as a team. It is especially good when its busy and there is a really good buzz in the office.

What attracted you to working with Pinnacle Surveyors?

It was advertised as a full time position, close to home and I was eager  to get back to full-time employment after working for a number of years part-time whilst my daughter was in junior school. Due to my experience within the estate agents when I was younger, it interested me in the valuation side.

What do you do outside of work?

Clay pigeon Shooting at East Midlands Shooting ground and I am a member of the CPSA Shooting Association. Spending time with my family, listening to audio books and socialising.

Thank you Nina!
