Derby Surveyor Achieves TrustMark Accreditation

We are delighted that one of our surveyors is now registered with TrustMark for retrofit building assessment.

What is Retrofit?

Retrofit is improving the energy efficiency of a residential dwelling through the undertaking of a programme of works known as retrofit. The whole house retrofit approach prevents any problems that may occur when carrying out individual energy improvement works without considering how they will impact on the rest of the property.

What is a Retrofit Assessor?

A Retrofit Assessor inspects a property to collect the property information and data that is used to assess the works required as part of a whole house retrofit to improve the energy efficiency of the property. Every house is different, so each property is based on its own merits and results in a specific retrofit plan for the individual property. The retrofit assessment is carried out in accordance with PAS2035 – Retrofitting dwelling for improved energy efficiency.

What is TrustMark?

TrustMark is the Government Endorsed Quality Scheme for retrofit assessors. All Registered Businesses must adhere to TrustMark’s quality and technical requirements. By choosing a TrustMark Registered Business, consumers can have the confidence they are engaging with a business that is committed to customer service, technical competence, and good trading practices.
